New England Patriots cornerback Jack Jones was recently arrested after two firearms were found in his luggage at the airport. The Patriots released a statement on the arrest that read, "We have been notified that Jack Jones was arrested at Logan Airport earlier today. We are in the process of gathering more information and will not be commenting further at this time."

Upon the news that Jones had been arrested for possession of guns at the airport, people went back to a recent Tweet from the Patriots cornerback that slammed Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant for his gun video incident:

This is of course ironic, given the charges against Jones, and people have been flooding the replies of that Tweet since the news was announced. Morant was recently given a 25-game suspension by the NBA for his actions, which came after the Grizzlies star was suspended for eight games last season for a nearly identical incident.

Not much has come of this Jones news yet, as the NFL and Patriots are still gathering information; however, the cornerback was arrested, and bail was set at $50,000. The news of Jones' arrest comes almost exactly one month after he slammed Morant, telling him to put the guns down and start acting different.

Needless to say, this is a very ironic development, and one that fans have already jumped all over.
