A Healthy Roster Now Has Miami Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra Making Tough Rotation Decisions

Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra calls having a full roster a good thing but it's difficult finding playing time for everyone
In this story:

For Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, it is a good problem to have.

But he also realizes it is a problem.

With a full, healthy roster, Spoelstra now has the issue of finding playing time for everyone. And it's not easy.

"I have a couple days to figure it out before Saturday but this is a good luxury to have when you have everybody available," Spoelstra said. "We have this depth. We have a lot of different weapons and the versatility but there's also the human side to it that you can't play everybody and I fully understand that."

Guard Victor Oladipo was the latest rotation casualty. He didn't play in Wednesday's victory against the Memphis Grizzlies. The game before it was Max Strus playing only seven minutes versus the Utah Jazz

"The first guy I talked to was Vic, obviously," Spoelstra said. "We have not been in this situation for three or four months where we've had everybody available. I had every intention to play Vic in the first quarter. The last game it was Max who had to sacrifice in the second half."
