Another Media Personality Has Miami Heat Landing Damian Lillard This Offseason

Nick Wright of Fox Sports 1 believes Damian Lillard signs with the Miami Heat during free agency

One day, it's a lock for Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard to join the Miami Heat. The next, it's Lillard is staying in Portland. 

It's been quite the ride the past couple weeks regarding the Lillard situation. Will he stay with the Blazers? Or join a contender like the Heat? 

The debate has dominated the offseason since the Heat lost to the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals. The latest to chime in was Nick Wright of Fox Sports 1. On a recent episode of "First Things First," he said Lillard will end up in Miami. 

"He is going to get to go to where he wants, which is Miami," Wright said.

Wright shot down the notion of the Blazers re-signing Jerami Grant and adding Draymond Green would help keep Lillard in Portland. 

"First of all, it can't and second of all, it shouldn't because that's not going to move the needle," Wright said of a potential Big Three of Lillard, Green and Grant. "He's going to be on the Miami Heat and we're going to have another top of the line contender."
