Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is holding up all the Miami Heat future roster moves.

The Heat are reportedly interested in free agent center Christian Wood but it likely only happens with a Lillard signing according to Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times. The Heat are still in a holding pattern with Lillard.

"Sources also believe that the Miami heat could be a suitor for Wood,” Woike wrote recently. “Particularly if they’re able to pull off a Damian Lillard trade.”

Last year Wood played for the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 17.9 points and 10.1 rebounds. While Wood is a strong offensive player and rebounder, the question is can he buy into the Heat's defensive system?

The Heat are in the market for a backup center to Bam Adebayo, but they need someone who can play both ends.
