Dwyane Wade Gives Shout Out To Jimmy Butler While Also Propping Marquette

Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler are both former Marquette stars who have become Miami Heat legends

Dwyane Wade finally made it to the party for those who congratulated Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler on his record-setting performance Monday night against the Milwaukee Bucks

Butler scored a Heat playoff record 56 points in the Game 3 victory that put them ahead 3-1 in the best-of-7 series. Naturally, Wade used the opportunity to congratulate Butler the only way he could.

Wade and Butler both played collegiately are Marquette and have now made the NBA marks with the Heat.

"There's something about those Marquette boys when they put on that heat jersey," Wade said.

It was a fitting gesture, especially after Butler tied Wade's franchise record for most points in a quarter with 22 in the first. Even though Wade likely remains as the most celebrated player in Heat history, Butler has won over the fans during his four seasons.
