Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler arrived at their annual media day with a unique hairdo for the second straight season.

This look, which Butler deemed 'emo', has caused a multitude of celebrities to react via Instagram post. They included Heat legend Dwyane Wade, Hall of Famer Reggie Miller, and Brazilian soccer player Neymar Jr.

Wade responded to the post, “HIMMY ‘HENDRICKS’ BUTLER.” He is making reference to American guitarist and songwriter Jimi Hendrix. Wade and Butler have likely kept in contact following his retirement to act as a mentor for Butler.

Indiana Pacers legend Miller commented, “LEGENDARY.” The TNT analyst is excited to watch Butler as he enters his 12th season in the league.

Al Hilal forward Neymar Jr. replied with a laughing and red heart emoji. Butler and Neymar have grown as friends over the past few years and have been seen hanging out this offseason.

Much of the idea behind this look is believed to stem from the loss of Damian Lillard, who was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks last month.

Butler’s unique appearance is helping to take the heat off of the organization’s front office after missing out on Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday. The Heat will open training camp on Tuesday at Florida Atlantic University.
