Even Without Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks Even Series Against Miami Heat
Before the game, everything was set up for the Miami Heat to take a 2-0 lead in their series against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Instead, it turned into an embarrassing defeat for the Heat.
They lost 1 to the Bucks Wednesday in Game 2 of their first-round series in the Eastern Conference. Milwaukee won despite two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo being ruled out because of a back injury.
The Bucks scored 81 points in the first half on the way to victory. All five Milwaukee starters were in double-figures, led by Brook Lopez's 25 points. Reserves Pat Connaughton and Joe Ingles combined for 39 points off the bench.
Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 25 points.
The series returns to Miami for Game 3 when the Heat play host to the Bucks Saturday.
