Former NBA Star Gilbert Arenas Calls Jimmy Butler A Top Three Playoff Player

Gilbert Arenas expects a big game from the Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler in tonight's play-in game against the Atlanta Hawks

Count former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arena among those who think the Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler is one of the NBA's most clutch players.

On a recent appearance on his podcast, Arenas said Butler was among the league's top three players in the postseason.

Arenas said Butler will be the different in tonight's play-in game against the Atlanta Hawks

"It's playoff time and Jimmy Butler in the playoffs is damn near a top three player in the NBA. When you're talking about regular season versus what you get from Jimmy Butler in the playoffs, it's really two different people. I'm pretty sure Jimmy is going to have 35-40 tonight. That's just Jimmy in the playoffs."

Last year Butler had one of the postseasons in league history, leading the Heat to the conference finals. They were one basket from reaching the NBA Finals. It spawned the phrase "Playoff Jimmy."
