Jimmy Butler Accuses Milwaukee Bucks Of Tampering After Damian Lillard Report
Jimmy Butler was the first Miami Heat player to respond to the news of Damian Lillard reportedly being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Butler took to Instagram to give his thoughts about what happened. Knowing Butler's playful personality, it's unsure if he was being serious when he called for the NBA to investigate the Bucks for tampering after ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi reported the trade.
"Yo NBA, man," Butler said. "Y'all need to look into the Bucks for tampering. Y'all do. I'm just going to put that out there. Y'all didn't hear it me but I heard through somebody."
The Heat were long considered the frontrunner since Lillard requested a trade to the Heat July 1. After a nearly three-month courtship, the Heat lost out on a key cog who could have helped them become contenders once again in the Eastern Conference.
Instead, Lillard goes to the Bucks, who the Heat eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last year.
