The Miami Heat are on the verge of acquiring seven-time All-Star Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.

So it makes sense that Heat superstar Jimmy Butler would do his part in helping recruit Lillard. Earlier today, Butler posted a video on Instagram showcasing a multitude of moments from his basketball camp.

One of them took place during a game against a camper. After Butler drained a step-back 3-pointer, he proceeded to use Lillard’s signature ‘Dame Time’ celebration.

This is not the first time this summer that Butler has copied his iconic move. He also did it while playing in front of fans during his tour of China.

It has been nearly two months since Lillard requested a trade, however, Butler seems unbothered by the delay. He has shown much confidence in Miami’s current roster but would love to team up with another superstar.

Bolstering up a roster that has made the Finals twice in the past four seasons would immediately boost Miami among title favorites. Butler and Lillard are two of the league’s biggest stars yet to win a championship. Joining forces on the Heat could be their path to achieving the ultimate goal.
