Jimmy Butler’s Return Leads Miami Heat Past Knicks In Pivotal Game 3

The Miami Heat take a 2-1 lead against the New York Knicks in Eastern Conference semifinals

The Miami Heat had their best player back on the court Saturday afternoon in Game 3 against the New York Knicks.

And Jimmy Butler made sure to continue his amazing performance in the playoffs. Butler scored a game-high 28 points in the Heat’s 105-86 victory in the Eastern Conference semifinals. They now lead the best-of-7 series 2-1.

This was Butler’s first game back since missing Game 2 after sustaining an ankle injury late in Game 1. Behind Butler, the Heat led comfortably most of the way and we’re never threatened.

The Heat, who entered the playoffs as the No. 8 seed after winning a berth in the play-in tournament, are now one victory from taking control of the series.

Game 4 is Monday in Miami.
