Julius Randle Expects Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler In Lineup For Game 3 Against New York Knicks

New York Knicks forward Julius Randle also returned from an ankle injury in Game 2
In this story:

While the Miami Heat are still awaiting if star forward Jimmy Butler plays in Saturday's Game 3, the New York Knicks have a pretty good idea.

Knicks forward Julius Randle said he expects face Butler.

"I got a lot of respect for Jimmy," Randle said. "You know what type of player he is, but mentally you know he's going to be locked in and engaged regardless of how he feels and he'll be great. We just want to make it as hard as we can for him and just limit our mistakes on our end."

Randle knows what Butler is going through. Randle also missed games in the postseason because of ankle issues.

"It's not really the pain," Randle said. "It's the getting back on the court. For me it was not being able to do anything for a while and getting my conditioning back, getting the muscles firing back again. The recovery after. All while trying to nurse an injury. Mentally it will take a toll on not only you, but my wife, my family, everybody in the organization. Thankfully for me I have a great supporting cast of people who encourage me."
