Miami Heat Superfan DJ Khaled Willing To Add To Push For Damian Lillard

DJ Khaled says several NBA superstars wants to play for Miami Heat, including Damian Lillard

The Miami Heat have plenty of people within the organization making pitches for Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard to join the team. 

They also have others on the outside helping with the recruitment. 

Miami native DJ Khaled said he is more than willing to speak with Lillard to help the cause. He spoke about it during a recent interview with local media personality Jeff Fox. 

"If they need my help, just put me on the ASAP with him," DJ Khaled said. "I know Pat [Riley] got it. That's the Don. Come one, this is Dade County, 305, Miami Heat. We got championships. We got banners. Trust me, everybody wants to play in Miami." 

DJ Khaled has a huge influence in the Heat community. He's a fixture at most games. Coach Erik Spoelstra and several players have a strong respect for the entertainer. With his backing, the Heat stand a good chance of landing Lillard this offseason.
