The Miami Heat (1-0) will take on the Boston Celtics (1-0) on Friday night with an injury-filled roster.

The Heat are facing the Celtics in the first of a three-game road trip. Miami cannot afford to sustain any additional injuries in this span after multiple players were added to the injury report.

Highsmith, Haywood Out Injury/Illness - Left Knee; Sprain

Jaquez Jr., Jaime Probable Injury/Illness - Left Groin; Strain

Jaquez and Robinson played pivotal roles in the Heat’s narrow victory over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday evening. Robinson scored 15 points on 60 percent shooting from three-point range. Jaquez showed flashes in his debut, recording six points, two assists, two rebounds, and two steals on 100 percent shooting.

This game was already a challenge for the Heat, who got off to a slow start against the Pistons. With the Celtics at full health, Miami's chances of victory fall on the shoulders of Jimmy Butler.

Butler played well against Detroit but will need to contribute more offensively to stay in the game. Celtics stars Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis combined for 64 points in their opener at Madison Square Garden.
