Miami Heat's Duncan Robinson Having Major Impact In Game 3 On His 29th Birthday

Miami Heat reserve Duncan Robinson goes 3 of 3 from the 3-point line in first half of Game 3 against Milwaukee Bucks

Miami Heat forward Duncan Robinson is arguably one of the team's most scrutinized players on the roster for the past two seasons.

Fans have criticized awarding a reserve a $90-million contract but Robinson lived up to it in the first half of Saturday's Game 3 against the Milwaukee Bucks

Robinson finished with nine points in the first half, making all three of his 3-point attempts on his 29th birthday. The performance was needed in such a pivotal game, especially with the Heat needing a shooter because of Tyler Herro's absence. Herro is sidelined for six weeks after breaking his hand in Game 1 of the series.

The Heat lead 66-53 at the half.

Robinson, who went undrafted out of college, is back in the good graces of fans for at least one half. It seems like years ago when he was everyone's darling after setting the franchise record for 3-pointers made in a season.
