Miami Heat’s Duncan Robinson Jokingly Says He Has A New Job As An Accountant
Miami Heat forward Duncan Robinson was recently seen on the street having some fun with a content creator who asked him what he does for a living.
When approached, a friend of Robinson's said, "Accountant." Then Robinson agreed.
In the video, he then compared Robinson to former Heat center Kelly Olynyk, who also jokingly told the creator he was an accountant earlier this year.
Robinson and the creator set off on some sarcastic conversation. The creator asked, "What’s the best part of your job as an accountant?"
He responded, ‘I’m a big numbers guy," which conveniently makes sense as Robinson signed a five-year, $90 million contract extension with the Heat.
Robinson concluded his sarcastic remarks after being asked how much he makes in a year, to which he responded, "about 100 grand."
The creator then began toying with Robinson, saying, "You seem like you have a decent layup not much of a jump shot... Come to New York [Knicks], we’d like you here, for real, better than Julius [Randle]."
Robinson is known for his ability to knock down threes, but he began showing versatility on the offensive end in this year’s playoffs. The creator is assumed to be a Knicks fan who was rumored to be in contention for Robinson prior to his extension.
