Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade Showing Appreciation For Golf During Master's Tournament
Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade continues to live his best life after retirement and recently being inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame.
Wade is attending the Master's golf tournament for a third straight year. He spoke about it Thursday during an appearance on ESPN because he has picked up the sport after his playing days ended.
"First of all, you have to go out on a golf course to try to play the game to understand the greatness of this weekend," Wade said. "This is one of the hardest things I've ever tried to do in my life, is hit a ball that is not moving. It's so frustrating. Once you understand the game of golf, you get a better appreciation for these athletes, what they go through."
Wade said golf has provided competition since he retired. The sport is perhaps more challenge than basketball, he said.
"To be 41 years old and to have a challenge, to be able to come out here and learn something at this age," Wade said. "When you think you're an athlete who can just get out there and pick anything up, this is the most humbling places you can be."
