Miami Heat's Erik Spoelstra Running Out Of Words To Describe Jimmy Butler

Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler had 35 points in Sunday's victory against Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1

At this point, Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has nothing left to say about Jimmy Butler.

The Butler did it once again in Sunday's victory against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs. He scored 35 points, giving the Heat a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Game 2 is Wednesday in Milwaukee.

"I feel like I've said so many different things over the course of these four years but he is just a brilliant competitor," Spoelstra said. "He does it on both ends of the court and he has an innate feel for what's necessary during the course of the game. We needed, obviously, some offensive punch."

Behind Butler, the Heat have now stolen homecourt advantage from the top-seeded Bucks. But they are at a disadvantage the remainder of the series after Tyler Herro sustained a broken right hand while diving for a loose near the end of the first half.

"I just control what I can control, play basketball the right way," Butler said. "I make sure my guys get their shots and do whatever it takes to get my team the win."
