It seems Miami Heat guard Gabe Vincent's worth is noticed when he's not on the court.

The Heat struggled without him in Thursday's loss in Game 5 against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals. Vincent was sidelined with a sprained ankle.

"I didn't know until [Thursday night] how valuable Gabe Vincent was to this ball club," Perkins said. "He opens up everything, especially for Bam [Adebayo] because of his aggressive nature of getting downhill and his playmaking ability."

Vincent is listed as questionable for tonight and is likely a game-time decision. He's played so well he's drawn the attention of the next potential opponent in the NBA Finals.

"Gabe Vincent has been phenomenal," Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone said. "Him being out [in Game 5] was a big advantage for Boston because Gabe Vincent has been playing so well."
