Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler On His Teammates: "As Long As They're Making Shots, I Get The Easy Job"

Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler is at his best when teammates are involved

A photo recently surfaced of Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler at the Miami Open tennis tournament on an off day.

He looked relaxed, almost like he should have been holding an umbrella at some island resort. That is the feeling Butler gets when his teammates are hitting open shots his presence creates.

In his mind, that's when he's got it made it in the shade.

"When they're making shots, my job is extremely easy," Butler said.

Butler had 35 points in Wednesday's win against the New York Knicks, but it was more than just about him. His teammates shot 56 percent (34 of 60) from the field, making Butler's job much easier.

"I probably shot a couple bad ones [Wednesday]," Butler said. "Other than that, I get layups, I get free throws. I hit a three or two but whenever they're making shots, it's like the paint is so wide open and I'm living in my wheelhouse as `Spo would say. As long as they're making shots, I get the easy job."
