Betting line: Heat -4.5

VITALS: The Miami Heat and Knicks met four times this regular season with New York winning the season series 3-1, with each game decided by single digits. Miami is 65-69 all-time versus the Knicks during the regular season, including 36-30 in home games and 29-39 in road games. The teams enter this postseason having faced each other five times in the playoffs, including three times in the First Round (1998, 1999, 2012) and twice in the Semifinals (1997, 2000). Additionally, the current postseason series marks as just the third time in NBA postseason history both teams are seeded five and below, joining only the 1994 series between the Jazz (5th seed) vs. Nuggets (8th seed) and the 1987 series between the Rockets (6th seed) vs. the SuperSonics (7th seed). ... For the Heat, Jimmy Butler (ankle) and Caleb Martin (back) and Haywood Highsmith (knee) are probable and Victor Oladipo (knee) and Tyler Herro (hand) are out. For the Knicks, Immanuel Quickley (ankle) is doubtful and Jericho Sims (shoulder) is out.

Heat forward Jimmy Butler on Game 5 loss: "It doesn’t matter if I score 40 or 50 or 19 or nine, we always have enough to win. And if I score 10 points in that game and we win, that wouldn’t be an issue, wouldn’t be a question and I will continue to play the right way.”
