Wednesday's Victory Over New York Knicks Provided Another Special Moment For Jimmy Butler And Dwyane Wade

Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade shared a moment after the victory against the New York Knicks

Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade have a lot in common.

They both starred at Marquette before becoming key players for the Miami Heat. They're also known for their gritty play on the court.

So it's natural for them to develop a strong bond away from basketball. The fact Wade was in attendance for Wednesday's victory against the New York Knicks made it even more special.

Wade and Butler caught up courtside shortly after Wednesday's win. The two have always had a strong relationship. Here's what Butler had to say about the moment in the postgame:

"There's a lot of people here that I got a lot of love for," Butler said. "That guy, being one of the biggest one. I have so much respect for him. What he's done in his career, what he's done for here. He's constantly in my ear and half the time it's not even about basketball. It's about family. We both got daughters and we're just fortunate. I always want to make him proud. I love him to death. I'm glad he could see us get a W."
