Without Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat Fall To New York Knicks And Series Is Tied At 1

The Miami Heat and New York Knicks are tied 1 after first two games of Eastern Conference semifinals

The Miami Heat played without their superstar and it ended up costing them. 

Before the game, star Jimmy Butler was ruled out because of an ankle injury and they ended up losing 111-105 Tuesday at Madison Square Garden. The series is now tied 1 heading back to Miami for Saturday's game. 

While Butler was sidelined, the Knicks had both of their players who were dealing with injuries. Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle were dealing with ankle issues but combined for 55 points. 

Brunson finished with 30 points while Randle had 25 after being questionable before the game. The Heat were led by Caleb Martin's 22 points. He replaced Jimmy Butler in the starting lineup. Point guard Gabe Vincent added 21 points while Max Strus had 17.
