Knicks at the NBA Draft: How & Who to Watch
The NBA Draft is just a day away.
While the No. 1 pick for the San Antonio Spurs is a formality with French big man Victor Wembanyama, the rest of the top 10 is far from a sure thing.
The Charlotte Hornets have the No. 2 pick, and Alabama forward Brandon Miller is the favorite on FanDuel with -650 odds. G-League Ignite point guard Scoot Henderson has also been linked to Charlotte but is -480 to go with the No. 3 pick. The Portland Trail Blazers are currently picking third but could end up trading or swapping it for a proven player to pair with point guard Damien Lillard.
Other top prospects that are favored to go in the top 10 include UCF forward Taylor Hendricks, Overtime Elite twins Ausar Thompson and Amen Thompson, Houston forward Jarace Walker, Villanova forward Cam Whitmore, Arkansas guard Anthony Black, and Duke center Dereck Lively.
The New York Knicks currently hold no picks in the 2023 draft, having traded their first-round choice (23rd overall) to the Portland Trail Blazers in the deal that brought Josh Hart over to Manhattan. Their latter choice in the second round at 53rd overall was sent away to Charlotte at last year's draft and has since been dealt to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
