NBA Free Agency: Nets' Seth Curry to Knicks?
It's no secret that the New York Knicks are coveting three-point shooting this offseason.
In an ideal world, the Knicks would find a way to pry Stephen Curry away from the Golden State Warriors. That would certainly fix some of their issues in that department.
However, Stephen Curry isn't going anywhere, even if the Warriors failed to repeat as champions this past season. But his brother Seth? That could be a possibility.
"Curry is the obvious choice, one of the best three-point shooters in NBA history who's equally as dangerous off the catch or the dribble," Bleacher Report writes.
Seth, 32, has played the last 1.5 seasons down the road with the Brooklyn Nets, which means that signing with the Knicks this offseason wouldn't require a major lifestyle change for him and his family. Plus, the Knicks offer a better opportunity to win than the Nets do at this moment in time.
This past season, he averaged 9.2 points per game, his lowest total since the 2018-19 season with the Portland Trail Blazers, but he did shoot just over 40 percent from beyond the three-point line ... something the Knicks would love to have.
Seth is a veteran that fits exactly what the Knicks are trying to do right now. He also fills a need on the team and would be a key contributor off the bench. On top of that, he won't warrant a huge price tag, making him a good-value signing for New York.
