'Love You Guys!': Knicks Josh Hart Reveals Sons' Names

Josh Hart's new arrivals have unintentionally earned him some playful notoriety, but the New York Knicks' depth star expressed only joy upon introducing them to the basketball world.

Josh Hart showcased perhaps the greatest two-pointer he'll ever experience on Monday, unveiling the first look at his newborn sons on Instagram on Monday.

The New York Knicks' depth star also revealed that he and his wife Shannon named their first children Hendrix and Haze. His post, containing a caption written by Shannon, depicted the young duo wearing his No. 3 Knicks jersey while flanked by children's books such as "Goodnight Moon" and an NBA basketball.

"I truly can't believe it's been a WHOLE month already!?" Shannon's caption declares. "I am so so in love and I am beyond grateful that you two made me and (Hart) your parents. I LOVE YOU GUYS!"

Hendrix and Haze arrived shortly before their father competed in Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs' Eastern Conference Semifinals against Miami on May 12. That game wound up being the last of Hart's abbreviated Knicks debut, as New York fell to eventual conference champion Miami in six games.

Despite the Knicks' elimination, the boys have partly allowed Hart to remain in the basketball spotlight as the NBA Finals carry on ... albeit in unusual, partly comedic fashion. The sons' feeding habits led Hart to publicly wonder if anyone else had tasted "their significant other's breast milk," a query that caused friend and collegiate teammate Jalen Brunson to demand his number be removed from the former Portland Trail Blazer's phone.

If anything, the fact that Hart's sons' de facto introduction to basketball includes the Knicks has to bode well for his metropolitan future: Hart previously announced his intentions to decline the player option on the contract that came over from Portland, he has made little secret about his love of New York in a relatively small sample size.
