It's time for another installment of our expert predictions ahead of your Los Angeles Lakers' 80th game of the season, against the 36-42 Utah Jazz.

1. How much can we expect out of Anthony Davis?

The Lakers have been holding Anthony Davis out of at least one contest during back-to-back game sets, as the club's medical staff considers Davis' right foot stress injury an "active" ailment that could be exacerbated by overuse. He is considered probable to play tonight. Does that mean the Lakers will hold him out of tomorrow's battle against the Los Angeles Clippers, a considerably healthier club (albeit one missing All-Star forward Paul George)? The Jazz will be missing their top paint defender, rookie center Walker Kessler, but will still have starting big man Kelly Olynyk available. I think AD will continue his hot streak tonight.

2. Which Lakers need to step up tonight?

With D'Angelo Russell still somewhat gimpy, it'd be nice to see a bit more scoring punch from Dennis Schröder, his backup, who has been fairly inconsistent since being demoted to LA's bench.

3. Will the Lakers beat their projected 10-point spread?

I'm feeling really good about what this team can accomplish when healthy, motivated, and playing a club that is clearly looking to the future already, sitting some of its best players with minor ailments. Let's say Lakers in 15.
