The Los Angeles Lakers have a big game tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves for the chance to grab the seventh seed. LA has a long way to go, even if they win tonight, but many people like their chances of making a deep run, and you can't blame them.

A healthy Lakers team is a deadly team, and they will be a tough out if they remain that way over the course of the postseason. When you mix that with how LA has looked post-trade deadline, LA could make a serious run.

Los Angeles believes, their fans believe, and apparently, a former Laker champion also believes in the purple and gold. 2020 NBA Champion Kyle Kuzma took to Twitter to make a bold prediction for the Lakers' postseason chances.

"My hot take.. (but not really) I think the lakeshow can get to the finals.."

Kuzma continues to show love to his former team even after getting traded for Russell Westbrook in the summer of 2021. Kyle spent four seasons with the Lakers, averaging 15.2 points per game, 1.9 assists per game, and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 44.8% from the field, 33.8% from the three, and 72.7% from the line.

The 27-year-old played a crucial role in the Lakers' success in the 2020 season as he came up clutch with big shots and played solid defense. He's spent his last two seasons with the Washington Wizards and could be a free agent this offseason as he has a player option.

The Lakers have the ability to make a deep run, but we'll see how it plays out. I'm glad Kuz still believes in the Lakers and is showing love from afar. Once a Laker, always a Laker.
