One of the best movies to hit streaming this year!

LeBron James has made sure to grow his career and legacy outside of just the basketball court just years after he got drafted back in 2003 and it has only been skyrocketing ever since he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018. Landing in one of the biggest markets in the world for somebody that is not only one of the best basketball players in the world but also among the best businessmen as well.

His rise to stardom and success is one of the best ever documented as he hit the scene when the internet and social media were just getting rolling and he decided to show the official story to entire world with the help of his own entertainment agency 'Springhill Entertainment.' A number of top basketball players of all ages were casted to play The King himself along a number of key members in his life that were him during his childhood and specifically during his historic career at St.Vincent-St.Mary High School.

The film was coined 'Shooting Stars' and Oregon basketball star Marquis 'Mookie' Cook was selected to play the high school version of LeBron James in the Peacock-exclusive film. Mookie revealed that it was not hard at all to get in character and replicate the Lakers superstar.

"It was real authentic," said Mookie. "I could actually put my feet in his stepping grounds of where he's been. Playing someone that's such a big person who was so great to the community and to the world. It's definitely mind-blowing sometimes, it's just a blessing."(Via Shooting Stars)

It's truly amazing to see that James has been able to thrive in a complete separate area of life rather than just basketball. He is giving plenty of individuals the opportunity to showcase their unique talents and creativity as he puts together an entertainment empire.
