Lakers Big Man Downgraded to Out for Wednesday's Matchup With Rockets
The Los Angeles Lakers will be without their backup big man for Wednesday's clash with the Houston Rockets (for our expert predictions, click here).
Jaxson Hayes, who was considered questionable all day with his left ankle sprain, has officially been downgraded to out, per head coach Darvin Ham.
Hayes isn't the only big man on the injury report, though, as Anthony Davis remains questionable to play with his hip spasms.
Is Anthony Davis Playing Tonight for the Lakers?
Ham told reporters that Davis was a true game time decision, meaning we should know in the next hour or so if he's able to suit up.
With Hayes already out, the Lakers can't really afford to be without Davis. If both are unable to go, the lone big man in the regular rotation would be Christian Wood.
We'll continue to provide updates on Davis' status, so stay tuned on AllLakers.com.
The lone good injury news of the day, though, is that Rui Hachimura has been upgraded to available to play after missing the last four games. You can read more about that by clicking here.
