Lakers Injury Report: Rui Hachimura's Official Status Revealed for Wednesday's Game vs Rockets
The Los Angeles Lakers are taking on the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, and they finally got some good injury news after a rough start to the season.
Rui Hachimura, who's missed the last four games with an eye contusion that turned into a concussion, has officially been cleared to play for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Hachimura will be a huge boost for LA, as they've been missing his consistent scoring punch off the bench.
While Hachimura has been upgraded to available, the Lakers are still waiting for word on Anthony Davis and Jaxson Hayes. Davis is questionable with his left adductor/hip spasms, while Hayes is questionable with a left ankle sprain.
The Lakers definitely don't want to be without their two big men, so hopefully they're able to go.
But at least they got good news on the Hachimura front, as they won't be completely shorthanded for Wednesday's game.
Is Anthony Davis Playing on Wednesday Against the Rockets?
Davis is listed as questionable, but he did speak to reporters during Wednesday's shootaround.
He told reporters that the hip "feels better," which sounds like a positive update for him potentially playing on Wednesday. Here's the full clip, courtest of Dave McMenamin of ESPN:
We'll continue to provide updates on Davis' status when we know more, so stay tuned on AllLakers.com.
