Lakers Injury News: Final Statuses Revealed for Anthony Davis, Dennis Schröder for Friday's Game

The Lakers are facing the Timberwolves in a must-win game.

The Los Angeles Lakers are welcoming the Minnesota Timberwolves into town on Friday in a huge matchup between Western Conference playoff hopefuls. Entering the night, the Timberwolves sit as the No. 8 seed in the West, just 1.5 games ahead of the Lakers in the No. 11 seed.

Every game remains crucial for the Lakers as they hope to make a push into the top 10 seeds — but games against Western Conference opponents are even more significant.

D'Angelo Russell was already ruled out for the game, as was LeBron James, who's going to be out for a few more weeks. However, the question marks were Anthony Davis and Dennis Schröder, who were probable to play all day.

The final injury reports are in, however, and according to head coach Darvin Ham, both Davis and Schröder will be in the lineup for this crucial game at the Crypto.com Arena, per Mike Trudell.

On the other side of the court, the only key player who remains out is Karl-Anthony Towns. He hasn't played since the end of November, and remains sidelined for the Wolves.

Tip-off for Friday's game is at 7:30 p.m. PST.
