Lakers Injury Report: Anthony Davis Availability Finalized For Hawks Game

Will the Lakers big man play on the second night of a back-to-back?

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis will not play against the Atlanta Hawks tonight.

The Athletic's Jovan Buah was the first to report.

Davis is ruled out for tonight's matchup against the Hawks due to a bilateral Achilles tendinopathy and left hip spasm.

After last night's loss to the Houston Rockets, the Laker center was aware of his groin injury and was blatantly honest.

"A little sore... I just couldn't move how I usually move on both ends of the floor."

Although AD finished the game, it was clear he was not 100%, and he admitted to it. He finished the game with 23 points on 10-for-20 shooting, seven rebounds, and two steals in the 16-point loss.

From the start, it was a challenging game, where nothing went right for the purple and gold. Now, the Lakers will go into Atlanta without their superstar big man and look to go one game above .500, again without Davis.

Tip-off in Atlanta is set at 4:30 p.m. PT.
