Lakers Legends Help Unveil Newest LA Mural
Something beautiful about the city of Los Angeles is that you can always count on the most talented of artists to display their work all across the barbershops, restaurants and numerous establishments that allow them to do so. I'd argue that there are few cities more passionate about their sports teams and new murals go up all the time to showcase some of the best players and organizations in the City of Angels.
Your Los Angeles Lakers have been featured in a number of these creations and it's been like this for a while. With the likes of George Milan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal and more legends all having put in years with the Lakers, they have inspired artists to help bring the community together by painting special murals honoring them at different locations.
And most recently, we saw Abdul-Jabbar with the help of former Lakers players Robert Horry and A.C. Green unveil a brand-new mural for the city to enjoy.
As you can tell, the crows was loving what was shown before them and it's great to see a number of former Lakers along with family members participate in such a special moment.
We've seen how Abdul-Jabbar has made it a point to use his voice to its full capacity during and after his own playing days and he also knows just how important it is to have a solid fanbase supporting him and his past team.
Even though a mural may just seem like a picture, it is so much more than that. Thousands of people will pass by it every day and know that someone put their heart into crafting together a illustration that commemorates their favorite team.
