As we get closer and closer to the 2024 offseason, the slightly uncomfortable conversation of LeBron James' free agency is looming.

The potential arrival of Bronny James into the league (depending on whether or not he declares for the 2024 NBA Draft) has opened the door for James to leave in the offseason out of interest in playing with Bronny.

To that end, 30 different teams could draft him, especially given his wide range of draft possibilities. While his potential is great, his college production has been shaky, and to muddle it up further, there's a chance drafting Bronny ensures a team also signing LeBron James.

NBA Reporter Marc Stein mentioned that he believes at least 2 teams are in contention to sign James for less money than his player option with the Lakers is worth ($51.4 MM), but that James would be comfortable signing with.

As the graphic above suggests, there's a very real chance the Cavaliers and Warriors are the two teams he'd be interested in signing with, given his ties to Cleveland and potential interest in playing with Stephen Curry.

With that being said, Bronny could be drafted by anyone, and the idea that LeBron would pass up on the opportunity to play with his son because he doesn't like where he was drafted seems unlikely, as some things are bigger than basketball.

Personally, I believe James will either stay or make the absolute decision of following Bronny, irrespective of where he goes. That hypothesis won't be tested until the offseason, however, and should make headlines once it is.
