Multiple Dodgers Stars Rock Kobe Bryant Merch on Lakers Night
The city of Los Angeles tends to come together whenever we need them to most and September 1 is definitely one of those special occasions. Along with the Lakers, the Los Angeles Dodgers serve as a model organization that not only provides sports fans with top-tier entertainment but also makes sure to give back to their fanbase and community as much as possible.
It was announced that Friday, September 1 would serve as Lakers Night at Dodger Stadium during the second night of their four-game series against the Atlanta Braves. Natalia Bryant, eldest daughter of Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant, will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and those that were able to secure the special ticket package will be able to receive a special Kobe Bryant Dodgers jersey.
The Lakers and Dodgers have gone hand-in-hand as of late with superstar LeBron James attending his own bobblehead night not too long ago and sharing a special moment with Dodgers star Mookie Betts.
It looks like Betts and the rest of his LA teammates have led the charge in honoring The Black Mamba hours before the game even starts as their social media team captured them entering the stadium honoring Bryant with different shirts, jerseys and even shoes.
Outfielder Jason Hayward rocked a custom Bryant shirt of him wearing a Dodgers hat, Betts popped out with his own black graphic tee, pitcher Joe Kelly had on a rare Mamba Lakers jersey and Evan Philips was walking around in the Kobe 6 Protro 'Mambacitas.'
It's amazing to see so many Dodgers players showing love to someone who brought the city plenty of memories. To stay up to date with every single thing that goes on during Lakers night tonight, check out our friends at Dodgers Nation!
