Multiple Lakers Legends Land in Retired NBA Star’s Greatest Scorers List

What are your thoughts on his list?

Scoring in the NBA is the name of the game and always has been. Obviously defense is important as well but offense is what sells. It is what gets people interested to watch and seeing star players put on a show is a special thing to watch.

There has been plenty of awesome talent come through the NBA in terms of scoring but who is the best? Which players have separated themselves as the top in history?

Well, former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker gave his list for the top five scorers in NBA history during an appearance on the I Am Athlete Podcast. His list is interesting to say the least but check it out below!

It's a little strange that Walker left off the top two scorers on the NBA All-Time Scoring List but to each their own I guess.

Both Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain were dominant scorers who could get their shots at will. Chamberlain was able to bully his way inside the paint to score the basketball while Bryant could get buckets from all over. Bryant's ability to hit some of the hardest shots that you'll ever see was a big reason as to why he was so scary as a player.

Defenders could play perfect defense on him but he would still hit the shot in their faces. His will to just simply take over games was unmatched and has its own label as the "Mamba Mentality".

This list has some really good players on it and I can see where he is coming from. But it's tough to not include LeBron James and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar here.
