Lakers Notes: D'Angelo Russell's Terrible Series, Mo Bamba, Darvin Ham
Your Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night, 119-108, despite being at home. The loss dropped LA to an 0-3 record in the series, which no team in NBA history has ever erased in a best-of-seven series.
Unfortunately, based on what we've seen out of Los Angeles thus far, this team just doesn't seem destined to be the first club, in 151 tries (the Boston Celtics just fell to an 0-3 record yesterday), to mount a successful rally. But LeBron James and Darvin Ham certainly seemed confident in their postgame remarks, as we detail below. One of the biggest problems with LA's lack of recent success has been the awful play of starting point guard D'Angelo Russell, who's even drawing unfavorable comparisons to ex-LA point guard Russell Westbrook.
