Lakers News: Odds And Lines For Western Conference Finals Game 1 Against Denver
Your Los Angeles Lakers will be kicking off the first game of their Western Conference Finals series against the Denver Nuggets tonight, on the road, at Ball State Arena. Can they steal home court advantage from the heavily favored Nuggets?
Here are the latest odds and lines for tonight's matchup, per The Action Network.
The Game Spread
Los Angeles opened up the day as a five-point underdog, though the team has now seen that line move to six points. Denver can nail its triples and pile on buckets in a hurry. Jamal Murray may not play due to an illness, and if that happens I anticipate this could be a close game. But assuming he pulls through, I expect the Nuggets will cover the spread.
Nikola Jokic's Triple Double Odds
How LA defends the two-time MVP will greatly impact this. He has the best odds (+110) to record a triple-double among anyone in this game, which is hardly a surprise given that the 6'11" superstar is averaging 30.7 points, 12.8 rebounds and 9.7 assists a night through 11 games in these playoffs. LeBron James is closest at +1700. Look for Jokic to fall short as LA tries to force him to score and take him out of his passing game.
D'Angelo Russell's Total Made Triples
D-Lo has been a bit hot and cold in this series, but when he's rolling (especially if he and Dennis Schröder or Austin Reaves are rolling), the Lakers are hard to stop. His over/under is 2.5 made treys. Look for him to make the over.
