Jamahl Mosley Reveals 'Greatest Part' About Orlando Magic

For many NBA teams, they count on their stars having good games to get wins, but that is not the way that Jamahl Mosley wants to coach the Orlando Magic.
In this story:

The Orlando Magic's roster did not change that much this offseason apart from its draft picks, and as a result, all of its younger players have been able to grow closer together and create much better team chemistry.

This chemistry can lead to teams playing better as an overall unit on the court. That could mean that there is a much greater chance of any player on the Magic having a good game on any given night, not necessarily just the stars of the team.

This is exactly what head coach Jamahl Mosley wanted with this team, as he did not make many efforts to acquire anyone in free agency or in trades this offseason, as he believes that consistency is key when it comes to a lineup.

"That's the greatest part about this team," Mosley said. "And we've always said it, and I said it last year as well, that it is going to be by committee. I mean, if you looked at the box scores, and these are the two games that we play, it's been someone different in each game. And that is the beauty of continuity."

In the team's first two preseason games, the Magic has had six separate players that have scored double digit points, which means Mosley's coaching approach is proving to be effective thus far.

The Magic will look to continue its undefeated streak in the preseason as the team will go up against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are winless so far in the preseason. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 tonight.
