NBA Draft Lottery Results: Where Does Magic Pick?

The NBA Draft Lottery took place Tuesday. What picks were the Orlando Magic given?
In this story:

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic, and the rest of the NBA, now knows where it will be picking in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Here's a look at the NBA Draft Lottery results ...

  1. San Antonio Spurs (14 percent)
  2. Charlotte Hornets (12.5 percent)
  3. Portland Trail Blazers (10.5 percent)
  4. Houston Rockets (14 percent)
  5. Detroit Pistons (14 percent)
  6. Orlando Magic (9.0 percent)
  7. Indiana Pacers (6.8 percent)
  8. Washington Wizards (6.7 percent)
  9. Utah Jazz (4.5 percent)
  10. Dallas Mavericks (3.0 percent)
  11. Orlando Magic (1.8 percent)
  12. Oklahoma City Thunder (1.7 percent)
  13. Toronto Raptors (1.0 percent)
  14. New Orleans Pelicans (0.5 percent)

The Magic was able to snag a pair of picks in the lottery thanks to the Chicago Bulls, who traded their first-round selection to Orlando as part of the Nikola Vucevic trade two years ago.

With two picks, the Magic should be a popular team in trade talks, but considering Orlando holds the cards and leverage, the organization is in great shape going into the draft.

Now, the Magic knows where it will be and can plan accordingly on how the team will build itself around Paolo Banchero, last year's No. 1 overall pick, and Franz Wagner.

The NBA Draft takes place on June 22, five weeks from Thursday.
