Orlando Magic Coach Jamahl Mosley Reveals Training Camp Goals

"I think we're just going to keep hitting home on on our details whether that's you know the right way to set a screen, our timing on passes you know we want to make sure we're continuing to take care of the basketball," Orlando Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said.

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic is less than three weeks away from beginning the season, one that the team hopes can result in ending a four-year postseason drought.

In order to reach its goals, the Magic has to start that hard work in training camp and coach Jamahl Mosley is getting the team back to basics and honing in on fundamentals.

"I think we're just going to keep hitting home on on our details whether that's you know the right way to set a screen, our timing on passes you know we want to make sure we're continuing to take care of the basketball," Mosley said.

On top of knocking down the fundamentals, Mosley has created a competitive atmosphere at Magic training camp, but also one of teamwork and familial bonding.

A true NBA contender isn't built overnight. This is three years into the Mosley era and the young core is beginning to come into its own ... all under the foundation that the coach has set with strong defense, challenging competition and an aura of brotherhood.

It's very tricky to have both ... a roster of players competing against one another for playing time and opportunities while also working together to build a family-like bond. However, with the continuity of Orlando's coaching staff and players, this is a years-long rebuild that is finally beginning to take shape now.

Should Orlando's progress in development come into fruition, the wins and rise in the Eastern Conference standings should take care of itself.
