Magic Coach Jamahl Mosley Reveals Thoughts on Trade Rumors
The Orlando Magic has been very quiet at the trade deadline the past couple of seasons, but that does not mean that this time is not stressful for players.
Multiple Magic players' names have been thrown around in different trade rumors, but head coach Jamahl Mosley does not want his guys thinking about and focusing on that. He talked more about the touchy subject in a recent interview.
"There's things you can control and things you can't control, and what our guys and we talked about today was you just have to focus on your body of work," Mosley said. "Regardless of what's happening, whether there's rumors out there, of this, that and the other, you can't bog yourself down with that because ultimately it is not in your control."
Specifically Wendell Carter Jr. and Markelle Fultz have been mentioned in their fair share of trade rumors, as many teams would like to have veterans like them.

But Mosley wants his players focused on the task ahead, which if helping the Magic get to the playoffs by any means necessary. Trade rumors can make teams be uneasy and take their eyes off of the prize, and that is exactly what he wants to avoid.
Mosley and the Magic will be back in action on Friday against the injury-ridden Memphis Grizzlies, who had nine players out in their last game. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET in FedExForum.
