'This Sucks!': Orlando Magic Coach Jamahl Mosley Frustrated with Injuries

The Orlando Magic has had its fair share of run-ins with injuries over the past several years, and the team is already hitting a speed bump this season.

The Orlando Magic has gotten off to a solid start to its season, going 4-3 through its first seven games. But now, the team has to work through its first roadblock.

The Magic's first big obstacle of the season comes in the form of some injuries that the team will have to deal with in the coming weeks. Despite all of these injuries, head coach Jamahl Mosley thinks that the Magic can get through it and that good things can come from this obstacle.

"This sucks," Mosley said. "I don't love it for our guys that have to go through this, but it's going to be something that we can learn from in the midst of all this, and the guys that step on the court know that there'll be the next man up and they will be ready to perform."

Five players on the Magic's roster find themselves on the injured list, those being Wendell Carter Jr., Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac, Gary Harris, and Kevon Harris.

The most notable of these is Carter, who fell on his left hand in the Magic's game against the Utah Jazz. He is set to undergo surgery and be reevaluated later this month.

This will be a good opportunity for players on the Magic to step upon and prove that they can make a difference for the team. The Magic will be back in action on Thursday against the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Mexico City Game. Tipoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET from the Arena CDMX.
