Orlando Magic Center Moe Wagner 'Wants to Go to Vegas!'

Orlando Magic big man Moe Wagner spoke about the motivation to perform well in the In-Season Tournament.
In this story:

After defeating the Boston Celtics to finish 3-1 in the group stage, Orlando Magic center Moe Wagner broke down how he felt about the inaugural In-Season Tournament so far.

"Obviously it's a motivation, you want to win those games," Wagner said. "It's kind of special. Yeah, you want to go to Vegas right? You want to compete. You can tell people care. It's really cool and it kind of tests us early. How poised are we those last three minutes, how focused are you at the beginning of the year? I've really enjoyed it honestly."

Wagner had a season-high 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field and 8-of-9 from the free throw line. He was the leading scorer between both teams in Orlando's 113-96 win over Boston.

The Magic finished the group stage at 3-1 and will wait for the results of two Tuesday games to see where they stand heading into the next round. The Brooklyn Nets (2-1 in group stage) will be hosting the Toronto Raptors (eliminated) at the same time that the Chicago Bulls (eliminated) visit the Celtics (2-1).

If the Nets are defeated, Orlando will clinch the group. However, if Brooklyn wins, the Magic would need it to be by less than 14 points while Boston also wins by less than 23 points. The Nets handed the Magic its only loss of the In-Season Tournament by a score of 124-104. Orlando could also advance to the next round as the Eastern Conference's wild card team in a few other scenarios.
