Magic Starting 5: NBA Schedule Released

The Orlando Magic's schedule is now out and the team is ready to mark the calendar.
In this story:

1. NBA SCHEDULE RELEASED "The Orlando Magic now knows where and when all of its games are taking place for the upcoming season."

2. FRANZ AT FIBA "A way to track the 6-9 forward's progress is to watch him play in FIBA alongside his brother -- and teammate -- Moe Wagner. Not only is the FIBA World Cup a great benchmark to track Wagner's progress as a player, but he thoroughly enjoys it, as he's said in the past."

3. MOE'S THERE TOO "Wagner's biggest impact comes with his rebounds and being in scoring positions if the offense needs to defer to him and being willing to take a shot to keep the defense honest."

4. PAOLO AT 100 "The physicality is different,” Banchero told NBA.com. “You can be physical on defense in terms of redirecting your man, the way you can guard. That’s the biggest thing that stands out. And a 40-minute game, it goes by quicker. In the NBA, you can be down 20 in the first quarter and not be worried because you’ve got time. You can ease into the game a little bit. Not here; you want to be going 100 mph from the jump.”

5. MORE ROOKIES, MORE PROBLEMS? "The Magic's depth in the backcourt is a good problem to have, and head coach Jamahl Mosley can go in many directions with the different skill sets at his disposal. Between six guards competing for two spots, it wouldn't be surprising to see the competition go early into the season, and Mosley tries different lineups until he finds the right fit.
