Magic Starting 5: NBA Mock Draft Lands Talented Wings in Orlando

The Magic Insider lists five of the biggest NBA storylines in addition to relevant Orlando Magic news and analysis.
In this story:

1. MAGIC MOCK DRAFT

"Orlando currently holds the Nos. 6 and 11 picks, and in a deep draft like this one, that's incredibly valuable."

2. AYTON TO MAGIC?

"Ayton, who turns 25 this summer, was the No. 1 pick by the Suns back in 2018. He was a key part of Phoenix's 2021 run to the NBA Finals, but back-to-back second-round exits have the Suns re-evaluating things, and if a trade was made, Ayton is a logical candidate to part ways with."

3. NO. 6 PICK HISTORY

"The Orlando Magic will soon be on the clock with the No. 6 pick, a familiar place to the organization in recent history.

"The 2023 NBA Draft marks the third time in the last seven years that the Magic will hold the No. 6 pick."

4. NUGGETS vs. LAKERS GAME 4

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets aim to advance to the first NBA Finals in franchise history, but LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to avoid the sweep in tonight's Game 4.

Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EST.

5. DRAFT COUNTDOWN

The Orlando Magic is 31 days away from the 2023 NBA Draft, where the team will welcome the newest members of the franchise.

Coverage begins on June 22 at 8 p.m. EST on ESPN.
