Magic Starting 5: New Throwback Orlando Jersey, Court Revealed

The Orlando Magic is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a special "Classic Edition" jersey and court.
In this story:

1. NEW JERSEY & COURT "In a team event with Nick Anderson, Bo Outlaw, Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu talking about their favorite Magic memories in a Q&A hosted by Ryan Anderson on Friday, Jalen Suggs donned the new jersey for the squad, paying homage to the "Heart & Hustle" era from 1998-03."

2. SUGGS PRAISES ROOKIES “They have been great," Suggs said. "I think they’ve come in and (are) willing to learn and grow; they’ve taken strides already. I’m very excited to see what they’ll bring and continue to be there (for them). I’m still in that middle ground where I’m not old but I’ve seen a couple of training camps and I’ve seen the league and have been in some games so (I’m just) trying to teach them and share with them what I’ve experienced so far."

3. RASHARD'S RETURN? "My first year was great. I really enjoyed it. I felt like my next chapter in life still being able to be around the game of basketball to me was a blessing. But definitely would love to be back here in Orlando," Lewis said. "I think when Coach [Dwane] Casey reached out to me to have me come to Detroit and help them out, the first thing I thought about was the Orlando Magic. I felt like I was cheating on the Orlando Magic by putting on a different color."

4. CHASING GREATNESS “They accomplished almost everything that I want to do and us as a team want to do,” Suggs said. “They won, got to the highest level and set a standard. They made this place where you come in and play great basketball while surrounded by great people in your locker room.

“That’s what we’re chasing as an organization — the greatness that they achieved.”

5. MAGIC TROUBLE? "People might not come out and say it, but me personally, I'm expecting some really big things," Anderson said. "But you have to have to stay healthy. ... You know you're going to have your bumps and bruises on down the line somewhere. If this team stays healthy, it could be trouble."
