In this story:

Trades are flying left and right, as they usually do around the deadline. And there could be one deal that has gone down that could benefit the Orlando Magic.

The Magic is currently second worst in the NBA in three-point percentage, and signing a veteran shooter like Fournier could be exactly what the team needs in order to get over the hump and climb the Eastern Conference standings.

Fournier spent six full seasons with Orlando, and he was one of the team's most consistent performers, as he averaged double-digit points every single year with the team. Every year that Fournier has gotten consistent playing time, he has performed, and he could do that for the Magic again.

If the team was to make a move for the 31-year-old veteran, he could make an immediate impact, as he is comfortable with the franchise, having spent the best seasons of his career in Orlando. Whatever the Magic decide to do, their shooting needs to be addressed if they want to be a serious contender.

The Magic will be back in action tonight against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET in the Kia Center.
