Magic PF Paolo Banchero Happy to See Wendell Carter Jr. Return
The Orlando Magic has had a rough go at it so far this season with injuries, as many of the team's key contributors have been sidelined for various reasons. But perhaps the most impactful has been Wendell Carter Jr.
The big man missed 20 games with a hand injury that he sustained against the Utah Jazz on Nov. 2. But now, he is back on the court and is looking better than ever. Magic star forward Paolo Banchero talked about how good it is to see Carter Jr. back on the floor in his postgame interview after the team's most recent game against the Phoenix Suns.
"I just kept telling him all game, keep going, keep being aggressive," Banchero said. "We're a better team when he is scoring the ball and being aggressive, so we want him to keep playing like that. He is going to help us a lot."

Carter Jr. finished the game with 17 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Magic, and he looked to be back to his old self, as he only missed one shot the whole game. While Goga Bitadze has done a great job of filling in at the starting center, it will be great when Carter Jr. is back in the starting lineup on a nightly basis.
Carter Jr. and the rest of the Magic will be back in action on Tuesday night against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the second game of the team's four-game road trip. Tipoff is set for 10 p.m. ET from the Chase Center.
